WHY DO KOLKATA POLICE WEAR A WHITE UNIFORM INSTEAD OF THE KHAKI UNIFORM?

Image
There must be police for the citizens' protection if there are forces for the country's security. When you think of police officers, the khaki uniform is the first thing that comes to mind. Have you ever noticed that the Kolkata police Uniforms are white in color, whereas the police in every other Indian State wear the same khaki uniform? Ever wonder why? The British chose white for the city's police because Kolkata is located on the coast, where there is a lot of heat and humidity, to reduce heat absorption and reflect sunlight from their uniforms. ITBP History and ITBP Uniform

ITBP History and ITBP Uniform The nation’s Himalayan borders have been guarded by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), which has a total strength of more than 90,000 jawans and officials, in addition to performing additional duties including deployment in Naxal-affected areas, law and order-related exercises, etc. The officers donning ITBP uniform serve as “Sentinels of the Himalayas”. CISF HISTORY AND CISF UNIFORM

Image
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is still the government's first choice for safeguarding crucial installations in India. With more than 1.5 lakh members, the force, which began in 1969 with only 3,129 jawans, is now the third-largest paramilitary organisation in the nation. The CISF guards all ministries' offices, the Delhi Metro, historical sites including the Taj Mahal, a few significant private institutions, as well as dignitaries and airports. This is the only such force that provides security analysis and consulting to different private organisations, such as schools. The CISF places the least financial strain on the government because the majority of its funding comes from the areas it protects. It is a cost force that compensates. The CISF now offers protection to protected individuals with the classifications Z+, Z, X, and Y. It is the only force that has a specially designed and focused fire wing. HISTORY The CISF's adventure began on March 10, 1969. Th...
